1 Does WaiterPilot integrate with Toast POS?
No. WaiterPilot has no POS connection, including Toast. Orders land on WaiterPilot's staff board and kitchen screen, and staff ring each sale into Toast by hand. If you want orders and payments to flow straight into Toast, Toast Mobile Order & Pay does that; as published on 15 Oct 2026, it needs a Toast device set to auto-fire orders.

2 Does WaiterPilot integrate with Square?
No. WaiterPilot doesn't connect to Square or any other POS. Orders appear on WaiterPilot's staff board and kitchen screen, and staff enter each sale in Square themselves. If you want orders in Square automatically, Square's self-serve ordering sends them to the POS and kitchen printers and takes payment on the guest's phone, as published on 15 Oct 2026.

3 Can I use QR ordering without switching POS?
Yes. WaiterPilot runs next to whatever till you have, because it doesn't connect to it. Guests order by chat, orders go to WaiterPilot's staff board and kitchen screen on your own phones or tablets, and guests pay on your terminal as today. The cost of not switching is one manual step: staff ring each sale into the POS.

4 What must my cashier do if QR ordering has no POS integration?
Ring each WaiterPilot order into the till by hand, at one agreed moment. Either do it as staff confirm each order on the board, which keeps the till current all night, or once at the check from the guest's live bill, with fewer touches. If the kitchen marks a dish out of stock, void it in the till too.

5 Can WaiterPilot print kitchen tickets?
No. WaiterPilot has no printer connection, so it doesn't print kitchen tickets. The kitchen reads orders on a kitchen screen on a phone or tablet, showing dishes, quantities, choices and notes without prices. WaiterPilot prints only QR table cards and a staff guide. If printed tickets are a must, use a tool that prints to your printers.
-
6 Can WaiterPilot connect to my accounting software?
No. WaiterPilot doesn't connect to accounting software, and it has no POS link. Your sales records stay in your till, where staff enter each order. The owner page shows WaiterPilot's own figures, such as busy hours and top dishes, but no export to accounting tools has been published. Keep your till as the source for your books.

7 Is an integrated POS required for table ordering?
No. Table ordering needs a place where staff and the kitchen see orders. Tools built into a POS send orders into it; standalone tools such as WaiterPilot use their own staff board and kitchen screen. Integration saves re-keying and keeps the till current. Without it you keep your current till, and staff enter each sale by hand.

8 How do I reconcile QR orders and cash register receipts?
Use the WaiterPilot live bill as your checklist. At the check, compare the bill, which lists each order and the restaurant's charges, with what was rung into the till, before taking payment. Void in the till anything marked out of stock, since it is already off the WaiterPilot bill. Keep one ringing-in rule and spot-check tables at close.
