WaiterPilot

How does WaiterPilot compare with Toast, Square, Ordder and MENU TIGER?

WaiterPilot is built around a chat: guests ask about dishes and order in their own words and language, and it runs next to whatever till you have, for a flat $200 per location per month with 0% commission. It takes no payment and has no POS link. Toast and Square fit better if you want ordering and payment inside your POS. MENU TIGER and Ordder cost less and handle payments, and Ordder also has an AI waiter. Competitor facts come from their own pages, checked 15 October 2026.

How did we compare them?

We read each vendor's own public pages on 15 October 2026 and link every competitor fact to the page it came from. We did not use their products.

Sources. Only the vendor's own website: product pages, pricing pages, help-center articles and terms. No review sites and no third-party price lists. Each comparison page ends with a Sources list, so you can check every figure yourself.

Plans and regions. Many features depend on the plan. Where a vendor offers a feature on some plans only, we name the plan: Ordder's AI Waiter is on its Professional and Enterprise plans, and Square lists QR code ordering on Plus and Premium, not Free. Prices are the US-dollar figures the vendor showed on 15 October 2026. They can differ by country, and taxes may apply.

Who wrote this. The WaiterPilot team. We sell WaiterPilot, so read this as a vendor's comparison. That is why each page says plainly where the other product is the better choice, and why every claim about a competitor links to the competitor's own words.

Corrections. Vendors change their plans. We re-check these pages every quarter and whenever a vendor changes its prices. If something here is wrong or out of date, write to [email protected] and we will correct it and change the date.

What did we not test?

Anything that needs an account with the other vendor. These pages compare what each vendor publishes, not how each product performs.

  • We did not sign up for, buy or use Toast, Square, Ordder or MENU TIGER. Everything about them is what their own pages say.
  • We did not compare speed, reliability, support, or the quality of their translations or AI answers.
  • We did not ask their sales teams for quotes. Toast's pricing page did not open for our checker on 15 October 2026, so we show no Toast price rather than guess one.
  • We left out vendors' own statistics, such as revenue or tip increases, because we can't check them.
  • WaiterPilot facts come from our product and its approved fact sheet. Where WaiterPilot has a limit, the tables say so.

How do the five compare at a glance?

WaiterPilot is the only one here without payments or a POS of its own: it runs next to the till you have. The other four include payment at the table.

The prices cover different things. Toast, Square, Ordder and MENU TIGER include payments, a POS or both. WaiterPilot covers ordering, requests and the live bill; you keep paying for your own till and card terminal.

Which one fits which restaurant?

Start from what you already run and how your guests pay. If you need payment at the table or every order inside your POS, WaiterPilot is not the right tool today.

  • You run Toast and want guests to order and pay from their phone. Toast Mobile Order & Pay. It is part of your POS, so orders fire to the kitchen and guests pay on their phone. Toast vs WaiterPilot
  • You run Square, or want a low-cost POS with QR ordering. Square Plus or Premium. QR orders go to your POS and kitchen printers, and guests pay on their phone. Square vs WaiterPilot
  • You want an all-in-one POS with QR ordering, pay at table and an AI waiter, for less. Ordder. Its AI Waiter is on the $79 Professional plan. Ordder vs WaiterPilot
  • Price comes first, or you want to start free. MENU TIGER. Its free plan covers 75 orders a month, and paid plans start at US$17. MENU TIGER vs WaiterPilot
  • Many guests don't read your menu's language and want to ask before they order. WaiterPilot. Guests ask and order by chat in their own language, and staff confirm each table's first order.
  • You want to keep your till and have the setup done for you. WaiterPilot. It runs next to any till or none, and we load your menu, print your QR cards and train your staff for free. See how it works next to your POS.

Side-by-side comparisons

Questions about these comparisons

Is WaiterPilot cheaper than Toast, Square, Ordder or MENU TIGER?

Not always. MENU TIGER has a free plan and paid plans from US$17 a month, Ordder starts at $29 a month and Square Plus at $49 per location per month. WaiterPilot is $200 per location per month after 30 days free, with 0% commission, no contract and setup done for you. We could not read a Toast price.

Which of them take payment at the table?

Toast, Square, Ordder and MENU TIGER all do: for Square, QR code ordering is on Plus and Premium, and for MENU TIGER, payment processing starts on Regular. WaiterPilot does not: guests see a live bill, split it if they like and pay your staff.

Which work without changing my POS?

WaiterPilot runs next to any till with no link to set up; staff enter each sale in the till. Toast's and Square's QR ordering are part of their own POS. Ordder says its Console adds the guest layer on top of another POS in the US and UAE, and MENU TIGER lists a built-in Cloud POS and a connection to select POS systems.

Which let guests order in their own language?

WaiterPilot's chat answers in the language the guest writes in; its buttons are in English or Arabic. Ordder says its guest menu and AI Waiter speak 23 languages, and MENU TIGER says it auto-translates menus into 30+ languages. The Toast and Square pages we read don't describe guest languages.

Did you test the other products?

No. We compared what each vendor publishes on its own site, on 15 October 2026. We did not sign up, place orders or ask for quotes.

How often are these pages updated?

Every quarter, and whenever a vendor changes its prices. The date at the top shows the last check. To report an error, write to [email protected].
