Above a certain sales level, yes. A flat fee wins once your monthly sales through the tool, times the percentage, exceed the fee. For WaiterPilot's $200 fee, that point is $20,000 a month at 1%, $10,000 at 2% and $4,000 at 5%. Below it, commission or per-request pricing costs less, so compare actual prices.

8 Does WaiterPilot process guest payments?
No. WaiterPilot takes no payments. Guests see a live bill on their phone with the restaurant's own charges, split it evenly or see just their share, and ask for the check with cash or card. Staff then bring the card machine or take cash as today, so you keep your current terminal and processing rates.
